Flat-woven and distinct from knotted rugs, kilims are crafted using a traditional "weft-faced weaving" technique. In this method, the weft threads (horizontal threads) are tightly interwoven with the warp threads (vertical threads), creating a flat, pile-less surface.
Hazaragi Kilims, also known as Sari Puli Kilims, are a very old tradition of the Hazara people. Made in the Sari Pul Province of Afghanistan, these kilims have been recently renovated with new colors and patterns. They now feature designs made with more than six vibrant colors, reflecting a blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics.
Multi Color: Teal, Orange, Garnet, Cream, Honey, Brown, Tortilla & Black
